A Call to...

Isaiah ministered with the news of restoration and reconciliation to the Lord, and His reign. Remember, Isaiah prophesied during the northern kingdom's and Jerusalem's downfall to the Assyrians. Yet Isaiah reminds the people multiple times: "But His hand is stretched out still."

That's the grace and mercy of God for you. Rebellion, sin, and selfishness ran rampant but God still desired for people to repent and turn to Him. After Isaiah records God's future reign he writes: "And in that day you will say: "Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!"" Isaiah 12:4-6

There's always a reason to praise. Always! What reason will you find to praise the Lord today? The Psalms are full of praises in many different circumstances:

Psalm 34- praise through troubles

Read through these Psalms or find your own reasons to praise. No matter the circumstance, the Lord is worthy of our worship. Praise Him today!
