But Jesus! Hebrews is littered with Old Testament scriptures. The writer brilliantly connects the Old Testament with Jesus. Let’s take today to consider Jesus!
“but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:24-25
No matter what you are facing mentally, physically, or spiritually let’s fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Let’s rest in the facts:
1- Jesus continues forever. Right now. Jesus is intimately involved in your life.
2- Jesus being perfect can save FOREVER as you draw near to the Father thru Him.
3- Jesus is interceding for you in this moment. Consider Jesus perfect, intimately involved in your life, and is interceding on your behalf right now even as you read this.
Yes… and amen! Hallelujah. I’m thankful for Jesus.
Thank you, Lord… help us to remember these truths today. As I ask that I realize you are interceding to make that possible. Refresh us with Your truth and help us to realize more today than yesterday You have empowered us to be Your witnesses. In Jesus name, Amen.
