Giving thanks and praises don’t just come from our lips but also in our choices; how we live our lives.
“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15
Yes! Let’s continue to praise the Lord. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalms 150:6). This is a good thing but not the only thing to do, right? :)
“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Hebrews 13:16
This last chapter is full of practicals to practice in our daily living. The letter could have just ended with all the spiritual insights, but it was important to the writer to conclude with practical steps on how to live out our praises to the Lord. So, let’s shout with our voices praise to the living King, but also live out our praises to Him as well.
