I want to encourage you today to live “by faith”. The people we read about are sometimes deemed heroes of the faith, but they were just like you and me. These folks had days like us and made mistakes like us, but it was the living by “BY FAITH” which we read about today. They accomplished many feats which seemed impossible because they followed God who made them possible.
By faith we… By faith Abel… By faith Enoch… By faith Noah… By faith Abraham… By faith he… By faith Sarah… By faith Abraham… By faith Isaac… By faith Jacob… By faith Joseph… By faith Moses… By faith Moses… By faith he… By faith he… By faith they… By faith the walls of Jericho fell… By faith the harlot Rahab… (Hebrews 11:3-5, 7-9, 11, 17, 20-24, 27-31 partial)
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
One day we will be in heaven remembering, “Hey, you remember that time BY FAITH you did such and such? Dude, that was crazy. It was so good to just trust the Lord in that moment, glad you did!” Or we will have those wish-I-would-of moments. Not sure what the Lord may be speaking to you, but follow Him BY FAITH, and go for it for the glory of God!
