"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord". Gen 6:8

Just before this we read of God being grieved because of the intent and wickedness of man(v6). Did you know Jesus and the Holy Spirit can be grieved as well?

Jesus grieved because of the hardness of men's hearts in Mark 3:5. Eph 4:30 says, "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Eph 4:30

I'm sure we don't want to grieve the Lord. Who would want to grieve anyone we love (Spouse, kids, family, friends)? In context the verse in Ephesians tells us, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you." Eph 4:31-32

The more we worship Jesus the less we see these things in our lives. You in a mood? Had a difficult day? Responded poorly today? It's not too late to turn to the Lord and worship. Instead of grieving the Lord we can minister to Him through our worship and devotion to Him.

Turn on that worship, call or text someone you need to restore that relationship with, be kind in all situations.
