Baby Boomers, Generation X, Y, Z, or Millennials. The world has done a great job of dividing up the generations. Even this has been a way to divide us up to some extent. Each generation blaming the other for the condition of the world. There is not much in the organization of the world that doesn’t plan a role in dividing or division.

Look at what is happening here:

“Then Jacob said to Joseph: “God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me, and said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people, and give this land to your descendants after you as an everlasting possession.’ And now your two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.” Genesis 48:3-5

“And Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me in this place.” And he said, “Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.”” Genesis 48:9

“So he blessed them that day, saying, “By you Israel will bless, saying, ‘May God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh!’” And thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh.” Genesis 48:20

We get to be different as the church. We are a people that share in the blessings of God. If you are a young person be a blessing to the older generation and allow them to pass the blessing of the Lord to you. If you are an older person do not let the newness or differences of this generation stop you from passing His blessings forward. The blessings of the Lord do not stop from generation to generation. You can either be a part of a multi generation movement or be the cause of it not happening in and around you. You decide.

When was the last time you had a cup of coffee or a meal with someone younger or older than you to glean wisdom and understanding? Take the time to be a blessing to one another. It is of the Lord!

““The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’” Numbers 6:24-26

In the name of Yeshua (Jesus), Amen!
