What comes first the chicken or the egg?

We read of Abraham's family, his kids, and details of issues within the generations of the family. Notice it says, "It came about after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac lived by Beer-lahai-roi." Gen 25:11

God blessed! There are times where God blesses obedience and times where God withholds blessings in our disobedience. We've saw evidence of this in our lives. Outside of conditional blessings there's something greater we need to realize. God's blessing comes before anything we've ever done of not done. God blesses beyond our actions. His blessings are rooted in who He is, His goodness, and His character.

Some of my favorite verses are found in Ephesians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love".

Yes, some blessings are conditional, but the Lord blessings are rooted in Him. In Christ we're blessed with every spiritual blessing in heaven.
