"Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years; these were the years of the life of Sarah. So Sarah died in Kirjath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her." Gen 23:1-2

Hebrews also speaks of Sarah. We've read about the ups and downs of her life. Hebrews 11 however records Sarah lived "by faith". Go read Hebrews 11, you will find a long list of people. The Bible speaks of their faith, not their failures. But let me assure you their lives (just like ours) had the good and the bad. Their lives however were defined by faith, not by failure.

Sarah met physical death, just as we will. 10 out of 10 die, 100 out of 100 die, it's inevitable. We have a choice to make though, will we live by faith? Or for ourselves? Her name was recorded as faithful to the Lord. She got up each day just like we do and decided to trust the Lord with the day, week, year, her marriage, and her family. May we be found faithful too. As for today let's ask the Lord to increase our faith and let's live out the Gospel of Christ in how we interact with the Lord and others.
