"So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, and said, "My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant." Gen 18:2-3

Abraham ran, bowed, and said "My Lord" (Adonai in Hebrew). Abraham recognized the presence of the Lord. He was also blessed by a word of encouragement from the Lord. Even in the middle of the consuming presence of the Lord and the blessings that flowed Abraham still considered others. If fact, in the middle of God's presence he sought the better for Lot and others. He had a heart for the Lord and for others.

Let's be about the presence of the Lord but let's also be about helping others. Jesus said He was about His Father's business. He lived for His Father's will and the betterment of others. Abraham was a good example of this, Jesus was a greater example... and today we can be about the Father's business and loving others. So, let's get at it!
