The character of the Lord is the same from Genesis to Revelation, from beginning to end, throughout all history!

It's getting harder for Egypt. To the point those in Egypt aren't trusting in the Pharaoh anymore, "The one among the servants of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord made his servants and his livestock flee into the houses; but he who paid no regard to the word of the Lord left his servants and his livestock in the field." Ex 9:20-21

Each show of power from the Lord is an opportunity to repent. Even to this day there are evidences of the Lord's power and mercy. "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2 Pet 3:9

We can look at the Pharaoh and see he continued to reject the Lord, but he didn't have to... and neither did the Egyptians. Soon, we will see some Egyptians leave when the Israelites when the Lord frees them. The invitation is to all.

Let's pray, love, care, and show compassion to those even in their rejection of the Lord. For it is the goodness of God that leads people to repentance.
