Months not years. So much with so little.
The making of the Altar of Burnt offering, Bronze laver, and constructing the court of the tabernacle are all covered in this chapter. There's an exhausted list of the build and materials needed.
"All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary, even the gold of the wave offering, was 29 talents and 730 shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. The silver of those of the congregation who were numbered was 100 talents and 1,775 shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;" Ex 38:24-25
A short time had passed since the children of Israel were in bondage yet they had all these resources to build. Their resources were so great.
All of what they had were provided by the Lord. We need to remember this as well. Just like Israel we can forget all we've been afforded is from the Lord. Great or small. Instead of comparing what we have to others we should be thankful for what we have. And just like Israel give with a willing heart knowing the Lord is our provider.
