We grow as we spend time with the Father. Jesus gave His life so Holy Spirit could connect us to the Father. Do you take that for granted? It's the beginning of all we do.

Moses had many interactions with the Lord. With each interaction the Lord grows Moses. He may not see it in the moment, we may not recognize, but here is a defining moment. The Lord tells Moses Israel has fashioned and is worshipping a golden calf in just 40 short days without Moses. How does Moses respond?

"Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said: "Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?" Ex 32:11

God gives Moses a chance to love people and Moses chooses love. He intercedes for the people. Yes, there is righteous anger and consequences that happen. But it's a chance for Moses to love people in spite of their sin. As Moses had spent time with the Lord he took on the character of God. We are called to love but we must first receive the love of the Father. Sit with Father. Love others. "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen." 2 Cor 13:14
