Let's shout the mountain down!

We all know about Moses and the burning bush. The Lord consumes a bush to use to speak to Moses about the children of Israel. He's calling Moses to stand before the Pharaoh on His behalf. "But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?"" Ex 3:11

Do you realize what the Lord is asking Moses? Years earlier Moses ran from the last Pharaoh. Moses knew his strength and power. Yet the Lord's saying to Moses, "face your fear". Moses had a heart for Israel. The Lord was also saying, "I'm giving you the desires of your heart."

Moses had been living in the wilderness living life on the run. But the Lord calls Moses back into his purpose. He's essentially telling Moses you must face your fears in order to have the desires of your heart.

The Lord is encouraging us today the same. What mountain do we need to be shouting down? Come on... we're the army of the Lord. Today is the day to face our fears and run after the desires the Lord has laid upon our hearts. What's the Lord calling you up and over? Pray... seek His face and let's shout down the mountains before us!
