Father, help us to get this, to believe and trust You go before us. You've been faithful and continue to be faithful. Please help us to see this daily and fall fully on your grace to accomplish what You've planned for us, in Jesus name!
Can we agree that the Lord had a purpose for Israel? I sure hope so! And let's also agree the Lord has a purpose for you and me too :)
Read what the Lord promises Israel, "Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. For My angel will go before you... I will send hornets ahead of you... I will drive them out before you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land." Ex 23:20, 23, 28, 30
The Lord was faithful even when Israel wasn't. These powerful statements represent the heart of God for His people and His relentlessness to go before them. They struggled with their trust in the Lord during difficult days and hard times. Maybe, you can relate? The testimony of God's faithfulness is evident with Israel. He is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore... so let's live knowing He's going before us this day!
