Criminals, neighbors, intimacy, strangers, borrowers/lenders, widows, and the Lord.

The Lord's establishing Israel as a nation. They've never been governed. The Lord's heart is to strengthen them. In order to do the Lord focuses on strengthening relationships. The Lord is always interested in producing deeper and stronger relationships. There are ordinances to be followed and lines not to cross, but the Lord's direction is always relational.

"And if a man borrows..." (v14)
"If a man entices..." (v16)
"You shall neither mistreat..." (v21)
"You shall not revile God..." (v29)

We don't live under the law of God today like Israel did judicially. That's why we look at these laws relationally.

How do you treat others? How do you handle intimate relationships? How do you care for strangers? What do you handle financial matters? Are you putting the Lord first?

Relationships are key. They always have been and always will be. How we relate to others is a direct correlation on how we represent Jesus. He has been pouring into us relationally and will continue to. Our main way of sharing Jesus is how we relate to others. So give them Jesus in all our relationships!
