"Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said, "I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father's God, and I will extol Him." Ex 15:1-2

"Notice, the song is all of God; there is not a word about Moses. Read this song through, and neither Moses, nor Aaron, nor Miriam are in it: God is all in all." -Spurgeon

After the plagues in Egypt and now the nation of Israel watches the Lord split the sea so they can walk right thru it while trampling Egypt by releasing the water as they tried. What a wonderful sight.

David Guzik writes, "When we let God be our strength, He will also be our song. We will sing because of the victory won by the great strength of the LORD. We will have a singing joy in our life because His strength will not let us down."

Take a moment to meditate on how the Lord has been your strength. He's worthy to be praised for showing up in your past & present. He will most certainly do the same in the future. "This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father's God, and I will extol Him."
