They moved from the backseat to the front...

As Israel finally left Egypt there came another intense battle. This time however they were confronted by Pharaoh and his army head on. Their first thought was, "Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt?" Exo 14:11

Remember, until now only Moses had faced the pharaoh. They essentially had been in the backseat. Moses had faced pharaoh but not them. They were scared. Moses tells them, "The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent." Ex 14:14

Not only were they delivered, but they didn't do the fighting, God did!

It's a scary thing dealing with situations at times. There are times where we have no where to run and have to face head on what we most fear. In those moments we need to realize the same thing the Lord spoke to Israel He speaks to us today, "The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent."

Father, help us to trust You. Even in difficult moments. Speak to our hearts on what You're teaching us and help us to trust You with our battles. In Jesus name, AMEN"
