Maybe, not practical...but!

The Jews are being persecuted. Esther hears about Mordecai mourning at the gates. After some back and forth between messengers a plan is in place. Even though it didn't practically make sense Esther trusted the Lord to see them thru it.

"All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."" Esther 4:11

Esther says let's fast before the Lord and in 3 days she'll go to the king, perish or not. She trusted the Lord would bring her thru it even though it didn't make perfect sense. She could die if the king didn't favor her.

There will be times when your next decision doesn't make perfect sense but the Lord has you in the position and timetable you're in for His greater glory. Not sure what could be holding you back from fully leaning on the Lord for whatever that might be. But would we take Esther's advice? Fast, pray, and obey.
