Saved for what? Transformed why?

Paul is writing this to the church in Ephesus. He beings with, “…To the saints who are at Ephesus….” (Ephesians 1:1). Biblically defined a saint is a living person who has dedicated themselves to the worship and service of Jesus.

Hey saint!

Now, I don’t know about you but because of the grace of God I have traveled a long way. Oh, I’m still on this journey with the Father but my conduct, desires, and nature have changed…

Paul writes, “among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.” Ephesians 2:3

“BUT GOD…”! Go on and read verses 4-10. Yes, He is still working in my heart but by His blood I have been brought near to Him, “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13

What about you? See, in Jesus we all have a testimony no matter where we started. By the grace of Jesus, and love of the Father, and communion of the Holy Spirit our conduct, desires, and nature have been transformed. Take a moment, write it down if you need to, but give the Father some praise for what He’s done, doing, and going to do in you. Then… take the time to share His goodness with others. Our transformed life is because of good news of Jesus and His resurrection power! Go on and tell somebody.
