Remember, each of these visions in Daniel are connected to one another. Historically Daniel's visions accurately came to pass. With a little research you will see the details of 11:2-39 all come to pass with the fall and rise of kings and kingdoms.
Ultimately, scholars believe verses 11:40-45 have to do with the Antichrist and his demise.
Since Daniel correctly prophesied the rise and fall of kings and kingdoms accurately, what's the likelihood the same will be true about the end of days?
Yet in chapter 12 for those who put their trust in the Lord we read, ""...and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life... Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." Dan 12:1-3
If we learned anything from Daniel is there is hope in tragedy. There's life even in hard times. Daniel trusted in the Lord. He loved the Lord and others even when it was hard. Let's have the heart of Daniel even thru the worst of circumstances.
