You may not feel it, but God's on the move!

Daniel 10 correlates with Ezra 1-2 where the first wave of exiles had returned. Daniel is 84 years old and instead of returning he decides to serve in the government to best help his people.

Daniel decided to not eat the best of foods for 3 weeks. He would have been noticeably famished at this point even not anointing himself (v3). During this time he desires to understand and humble himself before the Lord. And according to v13-14 there was opposition in the spiritual realm as Daniel's interceding.

Answers don't always come immediately during suffering and difficulties. Even if we are physically famished, emotionally drained, and spiritually yearning. Yet the Lord is always at work. During the time of Israel's rejection, sinful behaviors, and the like God never stopped moving in their lives.

We don't always get the full picture of what's happening, but rest assured God is working. Daniel was told, "O man of high esteem, do not be afraid. Peace be with you; take courage and be courageous!" Now as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength and said, "May my Lord speak, for you have strengthened me."" Dan 10:19

Be encouraged. Receive His strength.
