The battle has only begun but don’t lose heart because the battle has already been won.

Saul had been persecuting the church. He had done nothing to deserve salvation but in a moment on the road to Damascus his life is transformed by the presence of Jesus. What do we find out the Lord says to Saul? “But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”” Acts 9:15-16

There are things he would suffer thru BUT he would share the truth of the kingdom of God. Saul would go on to fight many battles even some of those being with the religious elite. No matter the battle victory was already proclaimed. Saul knew that. Do you? Jesus has overcome and there isn’t any battle that isn’t already won. Look at what the Bible says about the church, “Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.” Acts 9:31

You are consumed by His mercy, surrounded by His grace, and able to abide in the glory of His love… so battle on follower of Jesus. The battle you’re in today has already been won. Fix your eyes on Jesus.
