There are no circumstances, absolutely no circumstances which the Lord does not use to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul is now being held in Caesarea to be accused before Felix. Ananias the high priest, some elder, and a hired attorney accuse Paul before Felix. After some back and forth Felix decides to hold Paul. During this time, we find out, “And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” Meanwhile he also hoped that money would be given him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore he sent for him more often and conversed with him. But after two years Porcius Festus succeeded Felix; and Felix, wanting to do the Jews a favor, left Paul bound.” Acts 24:24-27

Felix seemed to have it all: riches and power. On the other hand, Paul was in bondage and broke. Yet Felix was spiritually bankrupt while Paul had inherited the kingdom of God. The Lord allowed this circumstance to go after Felix. For two years Paul in his spiritual richness reasoned with a bankrupt Felix. Your circumstance doesn’t define you so use wherever you are today to minister the richness of the Kingdom of God.
