We never really understand the depths of the Father’s plan. His plans include far beyond our reach or understanding.
As Paul is sharing his testimony of the grace of Jesus he says, “as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the council of the elders, from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished. “Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me.” Acts 22:5-6
Do you remember who was in Jerusalem when Paul was headed there? “and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.” (Acts 8:1). The key leaders who had been with Jesus stayed in Jerusalem. Early in the church Paul was coming to imprison the apostles themselves. It was on the road to their soon to be destruction where Jesus changed Paul’s course.
We never know how the depth of the Father’s plan. He holds all the details and small intricacies of every thought, action, and enemy’s schemes. We might doubt this at times because difficult times happen, but rest assured His plan is consistently and faithfully happening.
We don’t have the whole picture. We don’t have all the wisdom. But He does so let’s trust Him even when it seems destruction and darkness are looming. His plans are intact… and make sure to read the Bible to the end… because He wins!
