What are you focusing on? You get to choose so make the right choice!

Paul and Barnabas are making their way back to Jerusalem. There are major shifts happening in the church. When shifting happens in the church there is most always conflict. Here is what we should notice reading through Acts 15:

“So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.” Acts 15:3

“Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words.” Acts 15:32

“Paul and Barnabas also remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.” Acts 15:35

“but Paul chose Silas and departed, being commended by the brethren to the grace of God. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.” Acts 15:40-41

What did you notice more in the chapter? Sure, there was disagreements and dissensions. But the Lord was doing a good work in cities far and wide. He was doing a good work in individuals and in the church. We can either focus on rough times or we can focus on the goodness of the Lord and all He is doing. You choose, what will you focus on today?
