Boasting…to boast in a biblical sense it’s to bring glory to something or someone.

Paul writes, “I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least receive me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast.” 2 Corinthians 11:16-18

Paul goes to boast about what the Lord brought Him through. Read it. Paul went through so much yet through all He continued to give glory to whom glory was due, Jesus! (Take some time to read verses 22-30).

Who or what do you boast about? It can be easy to boast about ourselves and our talents. We can also boast about things, but we must remember what or who we boast in we give glory too. I don’t know about you, but I want to glory in Christ my King and His Kingdom… all else is unworthy. May we each find our lives, how we walk and talk, to boast in Jesus!
