With any chapter even verse in the Bible the Spirit of the Lord speaks into our lives. Do you believe that?
Today, read this chapter yourself (I’m hoping many of you do every day). Pray first, ask the Lord to highlight a verse(s) or thought He is wanting to share with you. Write that down. Then sit with the Lord and explain the verse(s) by writing those thoughts down. As you do ask the Lord how to apply this to your life today. Lastly, write your response to the Lord. Praying is listening and responding. It’s having a conversation with the Lord. Simply, if you follow these instructions today reading this chapter you have done this:

You have practiced hearing from the Lord. There’s a saying, “Give a man a fish feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish feed him for a lifetime.” Take this simple teaching and spend time in the Bible with the Lord today. There is so much in this one chapter. The Lord will bless you as you sit before Him intentionally with an open Bible.
