Who’s the worst person you know?

Manasseh reigned 55 years as king in Jerusalem. Verse 2 says “he did evil in the sight of the Lord”. It was a complete 180 from his father. He spent his influence on corrupting and seducing the people to do more evil than other nations. Think about him reigning for a total of 55 years!

Verse 10 says the Lord spoke to them “but they would not listen.” When the Lord judges him, it says of Manasseh, “And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.” 2 Chronicles 33:12-13

As bad as Manasseh was when he repented the Lord relented. As great as sin is the grace and mercy of God is greater. The question of who’s the worst person you know, should have been yourself :)… you may be a saint because you’ve put your faith in Christ, but it should always be our sin and shortcomings were most aware of. No matter how great we’ve sinned in our lives He knows it all and, in our faith, has forgiven it all. Praising and worshiping Him should be easy because of the greatness and goodness of His love, grace, and mercy!
