He made a way; He makes a way… do you believe that? If so, do you live out that belief?

Do you remember what the Father said to David when he wanted to build a temple? In 2 Samuel 7 David is told his kingdom will be established forever. When Jesus is referred to as the “Son of David” it’s because Jewish people knew of this promise. They were referring to Jesus as the Messiah who came thru the lineage of David.

Evil ran rampant in the world during this time. Through the struggle of power, the family of David had almost been wiped out expect for Joash. “Then all the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said to them, “Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as the Lord has said of the sons of David.” 2 Chronicles 23:3

When things seem bleak. Like there’s only a flicker of light left. When you’re holding onto God’s promises, but you can’t see the light of the end of the tunnel remember “Joash”. For God will always fulfill His promises. He will always make a way. Do you believe that? Are you living that belief out?

God is faithful, even when it seems all hope is lost. It could come in the form you least expect it. So, look to Jesus and trust in His faithfulness!
