Give it!

David is on the run from Saul at this point. Saul's jealousy and selfishness has led him to seek David's death, created a rift between Saul and his son, and now leading him to murder innocent people. Saul's judgment is misconstrued.

But David is different, "Everyone who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him; and he became captain over them. Now there were about four hundred men with him." (1 Sam 22:2). When Saul murdered the priest one escaped and came to David and he says to him, "Stay with me; do not be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life, for you are safe with me." 1 Sam 22:23

We can either be a Saul or a David to our spouse, kids, family, co-workers, and the stranger. I'm not saying we actual murder people but being a Saul is being divisive in our relationships whereas David was a safe haven to those around him. He ministered to them. The Spirit of God was on David and it showed. Are you walking in the Spirit of God? Are you strengthening and being a person of peace or the latter? Choose peace. Choose Jesus! Love Jesus. Love others! You've got so much to give... so give it!
