As we’ve closed out our reading in 1 Peter and moved to 2 Peter let’s remember, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7
I once heard Francis Chan say one of his mentors raised up leaders in the church because of one thing… HUMILITY!
It’s never too late in any situation to humble ourselves. We are never too deep in our circumstances we can’t turn to the Father.
Father, help us to cast our anxieties upon You. Help us to remember how much You care about us. Don’t let our struggles turn us away from you or take our attention more than You do. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Pray for me to walk in humility more often. To cast my cares upon the Father more. And for me to recognize the deep care He has for me. I will do the same for you. If you have any other prayer requests send them my way... prayed for you by name before I sent this.
