It’s all about Jesus. Your birth, how you are gifted, your personality, the things you are good at naturally, even the things you have learned as you got older. It’s all about Jesus.
Writing about the order in gatherings as the church the Bible says, “What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.” (1 Corinthians 14:26). We get the picture when the church gathered individuals were sharing spiritually with each other. It may have been a scripture to encourage another privately or corporately. Or a teaching to help others spiritually, maybe even practically. People were using their spiritual gifts to share revelations from the Lord. And it was all done for the edification of the church and the glory of Jesus.
When is the last time you gathered as the church and shared spiritually with others? It may not be in a building on a Sunday. It could be over a meal with an individual or others. The Lord will use you if you allow Him too. Step out in faith and share that Scripture you read this week, or how the Lord taught you something, or that deep revelation the Holy Spirit put on your heart. The time you have today and the Holy Spirit living in you is not by accident!
