There’s nothing hidden from the knowledge of the Father… I need to hear this today as much as the next person.

David calls Israel’s leaders together to share of what the Lord has instructed him. He encourages Israel and Solomon. Even though David isn’t able to build the temple it doesn’t stop him from setting it up for the next generation. The vision the Lord gave wasn’t his vision to own, but the Lord’s vision to steward and encourage people to follow. You and me, we don’t own the future, but we can be good stewards of today for the Father and His Kingdom. David was how about us?

In the middle of this vision casting David says to Solomon, ““As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.” I Chronicles 28:9

There’s nothing hidden. Not one thought, intent, or motivation. The Father knows yet He still saves us, forgives us, calls us, desires a relationship with us, and propels us forward in His purposes and plans. He did for David, Solomon, Israel, and now the church. David also wrote, “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.” (Psalms 139:1-3) “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:23-24

May we search our hearts to see if there is anything in us getting in the way of the vision of the Father’s purposes and plans. Let’s be good stewards of what the Father is doing in this day and age and propel the next generation into a deeper knowledge and understanding of being Kingdom-minded and children of the Most High.
