We need to remember our weapons of warfare are not carnal. For though we walk in the flesh we don’t war the same. (Ref 2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

We read the record of David subduing different nations (Philistines v1, Moabites v2, Zobah v3, Syrians v5, Ammon, and Amalek v11). Each of these nations defied the Lord and their people did abhorrent things. “So David reigned over all Israel, and administered judgment and justice to all his people.” I Chronicles 18:14

David might not have been perfect, but his desire was to administer judgment and justice wherever he went. His heart was to love the Lord and love people. As he did this we read, “…And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.” I Chronicles 18:5, 13

Today, it’s clear in the Word of God we do not battle against flesh and blood but there’s a spiritual battle we are fighting each day. No matter what we face, where we go, or who we interact with each day when we choose to love God and love people and to administer judgment and justice with the heart of God, He will preserve us wherever we go!

You facing a battle today? That person or situation isn’t your enemy. The battle is spiritual. How you respond deals a blow to the enemy’s tactic. (Read 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Ephesians 6:10-20 along with this today.)

The Lord preserves His kids and has empowered you to fight victoriously!
