The unique thing about the book of Psalms is the inside view of intimate prayers. People calling out to the Father for help or praise, with their thoughts, and talking through situations in life.

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.” Psalms 4:1

“Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.” Psalms 5:2

“The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer.” Psalms 6:9

What does your prayer life look like? There is no problem we face not answered by the presence of the Lord.

Start somewhere. Maybe you haven’t been praying as much as you should. Maybe you don’t have a time you set aside away from your phone to talk to the Father. Maybe you are doing religion but have forgotten relationship. Start today.

These prayers we read today were in the morning hours and laying in the bed at night. There’s never a time He isn’t listening so let’s work on talking to Him more than we are now. Always a chance to grow in our communication with the Lord.
