I love a good movie! Especially ones that develop plots well and get you into the characters story. Even as good as some movies are, have you ever considered there’s always something missing?

Moses says to Israel, “Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today… But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:11, 18

What’s missing? The Lord! Most movies build plots and stories that conveniently leave out God. I’m not here to condemn the movie industry but I’m just making a point how easy it is to ignore, forget, or not remember the Lord in the story of life. There’s no place He isn’t, there’s no place He hasn’t, and there's no place He won’t be in the details of our lives so why leave Him out? Are you going about life missing out on what really matters? The plot of your life can be good and the characters great but without the Lord there’s something… I mean there’s someone always missing! “Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God… you shall remember the Lord your God”
