Moses is reminding Israel of the Holy Days of the Lord. Another place you can find these is Leviticus 23. There are 7 Feasts of the Lord. Israelites were commanded to travel to the central place of worship (eventually Jerusalem) for 3 of these feasts. “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.” Deuteronomy 16:16

These 3 feasts were for the remembrance of the Lord delivering them out of bondage, providing for them in the wilderness, and provision of land of their own. These were appointed times to celebrate, remember, and worship the Lord.

Do you have any times where you appoint to do the same? Putting our faith in Jesus we should remember how the Lord has delivered us from bondage, provided for us in wilderness times, and how He has filled us with the provision of Holy Spirit.

Stop. Rest. Worship. Enjoy the Father. Give thanks to Jesus. Commune with the Holy Spirit. Celebrate.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” 2 Corinthians 13:14
