Relief much?
Job cries out for relief in his suffering-perhaps you can relate. Our hearts and minds can endure unbearable moments, leading us to plead with the Lord for comfort. Job prays, "If I wait for the grave as my house, If I make my bed in the darkness, If I say to corruption, 'You are my father,' And to the worm, 'You are my mother and my sister,' Where then is my hope? As for my hope, who can see it?" Job 17:13-15
This reminds me of David's Psalm: "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me;" Psalms 139:7-11
In your suffering, today is your day of strength. Today is your day of victory. There is no place where the Lord is not present. There is no moment where His peace cannot overcome. Read Romans 8:37-39 and be blessed. Amen and amen!
Your identity isn't a sufferer or endurer, you're an OVERCOMER. Come on!
