Plant no matter the season!

Isaiah 32-33 were likely earlier prophecies from near the beginning of Isaiah's ministry, possibly during the reign of King Ahaz. Many believe these prophecies were ultimately fulfilled during the reign of King Hezekiah. Ahaz was a king who did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, while Hezekiah did what was right.

Like Judah, there are seasons when our nation is led by leaders who honor God, and other seasons when our leaders do not. I'm not here to argue one administration over another. The greater question is: How should we live in the midst of changing environments?

Isaiah writes: "Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, Who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey." Isaiah 32:20

We can spend our time criticizing leaders and administrations, or we can spend our time investing in the people God has placed around us.

We are blessed to live in a country where we can vote for our leaders, and that can make a national impact. But our greatest influence is often much closer to home. It is found in how we love, serve, disciple, and point others to Christ in our everyday lives.

Are you sowing seeds of the gospel, love, grace, and truth in your sphere of influence?

The seeds we plant today can bear fruit for generations to come. So, no matter the season, sow beside all waters and trust the Lord to bring the increase.
