It's easy to attend church, but what about being the church? Acts 2:42 says, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” We're committed to living life together even when it's not easy. We are striving to be in unity with one another, even when we do not see everything the same, so Christ can be glorified.
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
